Rave Rewards: gamified WooCommerce loyalty for an apparel brand
Custom WooCommerce loyalty plugin: tier system, points, server-authoritative tier-up animations, eager-loaded imagery, used live in production.
The brief
An ecommerce brand wanted real customer loyalty mechanics, not a generic third-party widget. Tiers, points, redeemable rewards, and animation that feels like a game.
What I built
- Custom WooCommerce plugin with a server-authoritative tier-up flag (no client-side spoofing).
- Eager-loaded tier imagery with srcset for sub-second tier reveals.
- Admin tooling to grant points, run promotions and audit member activity.
Outcome
Repeat purchase rate up. Plugin currently powers loyalty for the brand’s full storefront.
